Leap Day just passed and many people were celebrating the bonus day by doing something nice for someone. This got me thinking about how much our customers and employees mean to me, which got me thinking about customer service and advice on how to be great at it.
There are a lot of companies out there that do an amazing job serving the people who keep them in business. I like to think we’re one of them so I thought I’d share my favorite customer service quotes, ones that inspire me and the team here at ThinkQuik.
You are serving a customer, not a life sentence. Learn how to enjoy your work. – Laurie McIntosh
The first one is one I shared on our Facebook page a while back but it inspires me because I think about how customers just want your service or product delivered right and on time. A smile is a bonus. Yet how often do you walk into a business only to be met by a sour puss? That won’t happen at ThinkQuik, I promise.
If you do build a great experience, customers tell each other about that. Word of mouth is very powerful. – Jeff Bezos
Most of our business is attained through referrals and repeat business. We’re not looking for one-off experiences with our customers. Getting to know their businesses is one way we provide additional insights and value in the process.
It takes 20 years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it. When you think about that, you’ll do things differently. – Warren Buffet
Never has this been more true than with social media. Reviews are everything and a bad one can circumnavigate the globe at the speed of light.
There’s a big difference between a satisfied customer and a loyal customer. Never settle for satisfied. – Shep Hyken
That’s the difference between awesome and good. A good meal doesn’t bring you back to a restaurant. A good meal doesn’t cause you to rave about it with anyone who’ll listen.
There’s only one notch that matters and that’s top-notch.
Here at ThinkQuik we do right by the customer because we’ve had plenty of bad customer service ourselves, and it breeds a feeling we don’t want our business to be associated with. We want people to come to us, give us their project, and feel confident it’s getting taken care of.
On time. Done right. That’s our promise.
